NZICA Library Services for Provisional members

The NZICA Library makes no distinction between Provisional and full members of the Institute.

Our experienced information professionals work to provide access to authoritative information, print and electronic, to support all aspects of a member’s professional life.

Accessing the Library’s online resources

Go to www.nzica.com/library, click on Access the full range of library services link, and login using your Institute ID number and password. Contact Registry@nzica.com if you are unsure what your login details are.

Once you have logged in, you’ll be able to search and request articles, books, and course papers via the Library catalogue.

You will also be able to search the Business Source Corporate database for articles from a range of accounting and business publications, including our own Chartered Accountants Journal.

Research service

Our professionally trained staff can assist you in a variety of ways. You may, for example, request information to help you:

  • Prepare for a workshop or assignment
  • Make or justify a business decision
  • Inform or update your professional knowledge

Current Awareness

The Informed Professional bulletin is sent to over 1,750 members every month. It lists the most recent items, print and electronic, added to the Library’s collection. Items are categorised by broad topic areas so that you can quickly hone in on what’s of interest to you.

It’s free for members to subscribe to this publication. The subscription form is on the Library section of the Institute website.

There are no charges for Provisional members

Members are responsible for returning books to the Library. These one-way postal charges are the only cost you’re ever likely to incur using the service.

Response times

Let the Library staff know your timeframe. We work to a two-day turnaround but will prioritise based on stated member need. We will always contact you if it cannot meet your deadline.
